Changing Perspectives

Welcome back to my blog, my little space of words and memories and where I hope to make you my new friends and if you are an oldie, undoubtedly inspire you.

In my previous post, I mentioned that I would no longer be writing solely about fashion and would be expanding my content to touch various subject matters.

Do you want to know why?

I noticed that each time I tried to write a fashion post, it always sounded strange, forced, and feeling like a chore.

Therefore, I am spicing things up and will be writing about things that I hope you will enjoy and will want to read. Content that will stay with you hours after you have left the blog and will ultimately bring you back to snoop some more. It would be like that box of chocolates you say you’ll never eat again but always go back for that last piece.

Let me let you in on a secret.

I’m fingers crossed and wishing that you do come back for more all the time.

One of my fears is living a life that doesn’t impact my loved ones and the people around me. I want to inspire you and as many people as I can, I don’t know how I’m going to do this but I’m hoping that writing and sharing the things I know or come across will be a step in the right direction.

So I have divided Boyemeh into four sections:

  • Yala Tales for short stories that you could read on those evenings you need a good tale to carry you off to bed.
  • Rory Logs is your crazy girlfriend and my alter ego. Take her advice which a pinch of salt as they are outrageous and borderline crazy. She is for the days you need a good laugh or some crazy spurring on.
  • Life is what it is, the things we see, hear, feel, and process. The things we are too scared to talk about and the ones we are too eager to dissect. Read it whenever and with whomever.
  • Style is for my fashion seekers, who want scoops on my favorite shoes, style combinations, and the odd write-up here and there.

I hope you enjoy the blog as much as I enjoy putting up stuff for us and drop if you like.

My turtleneck knit top in this picture is from Zara, my dress is from Boohoo and the fedora hat is from Cotswold Country Hats.
