Hey Babe,

I know it still feels like Summer right now, but it doesn’t mean that we can’t talk about autumn fashion. You know how the weather here in the UK is, one minute it’s glorious sunshine and the next it’s blistering cold winds, so let’s get our fashion groove.

I’m not into trends, but these trends are the ones I am looking to get into this season. Fashion trends that still look and feel effortless and timeless because that’s what we are going for here.

This colour was splashed all over the catwalk during the autumn/winter fashion week. Alexander Mcqueen And Givenchy had some beautiful pieces, and I’ll be incorporating these styles into my outfits this season.

This one got me all tickled. I remember in the 90s when my mum wore suits as these and I would swear under my breath that you would never catch me with such. Fast forward two decades and here I am, ogling over these power suits from the Miu Miu runway. They define the essence of boss babe vibes. It is such a power look, and even though I know I’m not going into the office, I will wear this around the house to let them know who the boss is.

I’m am all about the victorian era when it comes to necklines and sleeves, and Zimmerman gave me all the feels on his runway, and I can’t wait to see how this will filter down to the high street where I can afford. I have a dress that I think I can style in the same way he did, so stick around to find out. I don’t want us to put ourselves in a box when it comes to our style. Yes, we are elegant power babes, but we are also edgy and not afraid to push boundaries, and this trend right here allows us to do this.

Babe, Cardigans are no longer for our aunties and grandmas. They have gotten an upgrade this season. Styled beautifully during autumn/winter fashion week, this is a trend I’ll be trying out this year. I’ve got my eyes on some beautiful ones on the Zara and Shein websites. I can’t wait to show you how I style them. I’m so excited.

This trend takes me back to the world of the Matrix and when Mark Morrison’s smash hit ‘Return of the Mack’ was banging. It is edgy, powerful and very chic. It is definitely a confidence booster and will get you feeling like you can do all things, like dodging bullets and all.

There are still some more trends I want to share but those will come in another post.

I’ll be styling these trends above so be sure to come back and check here to see how I get on, also check out my Instagram profile @boyemeh, I have more fashion on there.

See you soon,

I am here for the red and suit trends. The others won’t work in Nigeria since summer is almost all year round.
