I have fallen in love with the color green.
Ok babes, am I the only one excited for this new season? I mean don’t get me wrong, I love summer but colder weather gives you a lot of opportunities to be experimental with your style. You can layer up with lovely sweaters or jumpers, dust up the good old booties and even though we aren’t fully into coat season, those beautifully tailored blazers can be exhibited in their full glory.
Plaid, plaid, plaid is the song that I am singing this season. I went into Primark the other day and set my eyes on this beautifully checkered trouser and decided I needed to get it. I am always skeptical of buying trousers at Primark because they never ever get my fit right. I have massive thighs with a tiny waist that is smaller than my thighs, but when I tried this pair on, the fit was amazing. It accentuated my curves in the right places, hm hm hm. My crop jumper is from an online store called Shein, babes let me tell you, these guys have their moments, let me not lie. Shopping with them can be a hit or miss. Be wary of their sizing, I mean this jumper was an extra large but it was still a bit snug around my boob area, but I love the mixture of blue, green and white and I knew it would go well with my checkered trouser. There is one thing I have learned in my sojourn as a shopaholic, PLEASE BUY PIECES THAT MATCH CLOTHES ALREADY IN YOUR CLOSET. This will help you a lot, you won’t spend tie looking at your wardrobe and complaining that you don’t have anything to wear. Trust me I have learnt my lesson.
I felt very London fashion week-ish in this ensemble. Ha.
Please do tell me how you are styling for this new season, and for those of us who don’t know where to start, I say the first step to great style is knowing what style type you are; take the style personality quiz.
See you later, xxx.
